First Meeting of Regional Steering Committee the for the Pacific Islands Oceanic Fisheries Management Project

The first meeting of the Regional Steering Committee (RSC) for the Pacific Islands Oceanic Fisheries Management project was held at the FFA Conference Centre, Honiara, Solomon Islands on 14 October 2005. Representatives from the following country Governments and organisations were present: Australia, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, New Zealand, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC), the Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency (FFA), the World Conservation Union (IUCN) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
