CP06-2021: Assessing the Contribution of Landings from in Port Transhipment to Food Security
Proposals are sought from suitably qualified and experienced Consultant(s) or Consultancy firm(s) to collect data from tuna fishing and processing companies operating in FFA Pacific Island member countries on the volume of tuna and tuna-like species that are landed from local consumption during in-port transhipment. This is to establish baseline data for measuring progress towards one of the goals of the 'Regional Roadmap for Sustainable Pacific Fisheries' - to increase the supply of tuna for domestic consumption in the region by 40,000 tonnes over the period 2015-2024.
