Maintenance Assistant (2 positions)

The Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency (FFA) is inviting applications for two Maintenance Assistant positions within its Corporate Services Division. The Maintenance Assistant positions play a crucial role in supporting a safe working environment for staff. The positions exist primarily to provide minor and routine maintenance and repair work of FFA premises, equipment and furniture. These are Position Advertised Locally (PAL) and a 4 year contract is offered to each of the successful candidates. 

Key areas of responsibilities for the role include but not limited to the following: 

  • - Provide effective and efficient maintenance support services for the Agency and staff,
  • - Contract management, and 
  • - Assist with the provision of emergency support services to the Secretariat and staff.
About You
To be eligible for consideration, you must have at least a Trades Certificate plus 5 years of experience in the areas of responsibilities for the position or a combination of specialised training in the areas of responsibilities with at least six years of experience. Salary and Benefits

A remuneration package offering a minimum salary of SBD$60,027.00 per annum, housing allowance of SBD$72,000 per annum at SBD$6,000.00 paid on a monthly basis plus other benefits and entitlements.
