Information Security Management System Policy

Information is an asset that FFA has a duty and responsibility to protect. The availability of complete and accurate information is essential to FFA functioning in an efficient manner to provide products and services in support of effective fisheries management. The organisation holds and processes confidential and personal information on private individuals, employees, partners and suppliers and information relating to its own operation.

In processing information FFA has a responsibility to safeguard information and prevent its misuse. The objective of the FFA Information Security Management System (ISMS) is to ensure that its core and supporting activities continue to operate with minimal disruptions.
